 | Eco Baby Cotton Yarn by Debbie Bliss Debbie Bliss began her Fairtrade Collection with Eco aran and here is the new arrival to the range - Eco Baby. The cotton yarn is a heavy 4ply/light DK (the same as her famous baby cashmerino). It has been manufactured from 100% organic cotton with an ecologically and socially conscious process through the Bio Re textile chain. The cotton yarn is dyed with non toxic, non carcinogenic dyes and the water is recycled and rendered drinkable by Idra (a non profit making organization). This dyeing process has given Debbie the opportunity to have a wonderfully vibrant palette still within the organic concept. Organic cotton yarns are notoriously difficult to produce, so it's brilliant to have a bright, colourful yarn with such ethical credentials. Click for full colour range |
