A classic wool and nylon carpet yarn of exceptional quality in a wide range of colours ideal for rug making and general crafts.
80% Wool 20% Nylon - approx 350m - 500m per cone, 50m per spool (approx 20g).
Wool for warmth and nylon for strength.
Ideal for making classic velvet pile carpets and rugs or shaggy rya rugs using either a tufting gun or a few ends together using a rug hook. This yarn is also ideal to stitch into small hole canvas for needlepoint work such as church kneelers etc.

3.3/1nm - approx 330m per cone. Some recent additions are slightly thicker and are 2 fold.
All the yarns in the range are spun from one main colour with lots of coloured nepps and flecks, making them dense and rich with lots of character. However, there are so many colours in some of the shades that they have been a little tricky to scan - especially bark which is made up of lots of colours to produce an overall rich, deep colour.
This is a non-repeatable yarn and will not be around for long, so buy now at this amazing price!

 | White Rose Mohair by Texere Yarns
This is a glorious, smooth and lustrous 98% mohair yarn (with just 2% nylon that's added when spinning) that has never left Yorkshire! The angora goats live on a farm less than 50 miles from Texere Yarns and live a happy life roaming around the farm getting shorn twice a year when their hair gets to about 150mm in length. (This is as free range and organic as it gets!) There are no air miles here, just a little journey round West Yorkshire as the fibre is scoured and carded in Halifax, spun in Bradford, dyed in Huddersfield, balled in Wakefield, then it's sold from our mill back here in Bradford! The yarn has a lovely handle - it's soft, strong, warm and nowhere near as hairy as traditional brushed mohair. Knit or crochet to most DK patterns, but just double check your tension first.

 | Willow by Texere - 70% merino wool and 30% fine alpaca

We don't know the exact origin of this yarn, other than it was destined for the organic range of a very well known yarn company. It's a luxurious blend of 70% merino wool and 30% fine alpaca giving a lovely handle. We believe that it has been organically grown and dyed naturally using sustainable plant dyes - hence the soft palette of muted, natural shades. The yarn is a heavy DK and this could be the problem - not a standard ply. However, a bit of tweaking of any double knitting pattern and you should be fine.

Knit on 4.5mm pins to a tension of approx 19 stitches and 23 rows to a 10cm square.

100% wool. Cool, gentle warm hand wash, so not agitate or wring, dry flat, do not spin or tumble dry. Alternatively throw in the washing machine and tumble dry for fabulous, thick felt.
55m per skein. As with all slub yarns it is difficult to give you an accurate thickness, but this yarn is approx aran/chunky. Knit on 5.5mm needles to a tension of 16 stitches and 25 rows to a 10cm square. (Knits to Debbie Bliss Soho and Colinette One Zero patterns).
Knit by hand or weave into sumptuous sweaters and garments, cushions or throws.
These gorgeous space dyed colours mean you have random stripes and spots throughout your knitwear making them perfect for smaller items such as scarves, hats and handbags where knots would get in the way! Brilliant for making corsages on the flower loom.

This gorgeous yarn is now unfortunately discontinued as the soaring costs make it unviable for us to continue with manufacture. This is a true aran weight approx 82m per ball. Use 5mm needles and knit to a tension of 19sts and 24 rows to a 10cm square.
There is a rich, but gentle lustre and a delightful soft handle which hides the strength of the yarn. Pure luxury in a custom selected range of contemporary and traditional shades.
If you can bear to machine wash this gorgeous yarn it will make lovely thick felt

A gorgeous aran weight knitting wool spun in Scotland in a range of tweedy and marled shades. This yarn is also excellent for felting into sumptuous thick felt - perfect for bags. Now available by the pack at a special bulk price with a fantastic 24% discount.
Oiled pure wool - if required the balls may be washed prior to knitting. Gentle hand wash, do not wring, do not tumble dry, iron under damp cloth. Can be dry cleaned.
Aran knitting weight - 170m per skein. Use 5mm needles and knit to a tension of 19sts and 24 rows to a 10cm square. Measure your tension square, then wash and re-measure before beginning to knit your project and adjust needles/pattern size if necessary.
