Union Jack Bag Pattern

Union Jack Bag Pattern

£2.00

What better way to show your dedication to British farmers, sheep and yarns than by making a union flag bag?! The red, white and blue really says everything you need it to say, but if you fancy being more individual play around with subtle or wacky colour and texture combinations. Felting is a fun way to transform soft yarns into practical accessories by just throwing them in the washing machine! Texere Troon Tweed is spun in oil, so knits very easily and totally changes when washed. Texere Airedale Aran is softer, without flecks and felts even easier. Try combining the two for unusual textures & effects.
This pattern has two designs included - red-white-blue & Green style bags

Simply Knitting said, "Lesley Stanfield clearly has a keen eye for flowers, as they burst out from the pages of this pretty book. From forget-me-not to poinsettia and lily-of-the-valley to mistletoe, garden favourites and exotic blooms, you'll find everything you need to make a bright bouquet or a pretty wreath ? including leaves, a few friendly insects such as a ladybird and a bee, and even fruit and veg! Each of the 100 patterns has clear written instructions to either knit or crochet the item, and the crochet patterns are also charted, making it really easy to see how the flower is constructed. Dylon Hand Dyes

These are great dyes that now replace the cold water and multi purpose tins. They are suitable for dyeing smaller items that you wouldn't want to put in the washing machine.
They are a very simple way of dyeing smaller or delicate items in cold water. Also try space-dyeing, tie-dyeing etc to create unusual textures and effect on both yarns and fabrics. Each sachet of dye will dye 250g of dry yarn or fabric and all you need is some salt.
hey are suitable for cotton, linen and viscose as well as cotton and polyester blends which will produce a lighter shade. You can also safely dye wool, mohair or silk that you'd rather not put in the machine. Please note that these new dyes will not dye nylon.
ye tops and trousers, scarves and accessories, cushion covers and table linen. Update anything with an instant splash of colour! Don't throw things out - dye them!

Dylon Machine Dye

We have been selling our dye kits for a long time, but due to demand for individual dye pots we are now stocking Dylon's easy to use range of dyes.
These machine dyes are a very simple way of producing an even colour on large items that would be tricky to dye in a bucket or pan. Each box of dye will dye 500g of dry yarn or fabric and all you need is some salt.
They are suitable for cotton, linen and viscose as well as cotton and polyester blends which will produce a lighter shade. Do not dye wool or mohair in the machine - it will take the dye, but will felt and shrink!
Dye jeans, towels, sheets, cushion covers, curtains or any large item. Dylon suggest using two packets for very large or heavy items - I found the best way to do this is to dye it once, take the item out of the machine and then dye a second time. This means any area that may have been slightly creased and not received the full amount of dye can have a second chance of getting dyed.
Dylon machine dye has been awarded "Good Housekeeping Institute" accreditation which means that you can be assured that this product has passed Consumer Quality Assessment tests carried out by the GHI team. Please note that the packaging of these dyes has changed to these stylish new black boxes, with fancy names! However, we do still have some of the original packaging with the number codes and will keep these listed on the website and send this packaging until we have completely crossed over.
