This is a quick and easy design for a pair of fingerless gloves/mittens knitted using the gorgeous Firenze by Laines du Nord. Firenze is an eyelash yarn so is soft and fluffy, but also has a high percentage of wool in its makeup, so it's very warm and cosy (and will felt), hand wash only!! This leaflet has two scarves that both use Louisa Harding Sari Ribbon in combination with two soft, fluffy yarns. Elements mohair is available in both a looped and brushed version - we have chosen the loop and just knitted a plain garter stitch, then decorate the edges with the ribbon. The second scarf is knitted very loosely from Firenze by Laines du Nord and the ribbon is then woven along the length of the scarf and to hang as tassels. Both yarns contrast in texture from the ribbon producing unusual effects and as more colours are added to the Sari range keep an eye for more eyecatching combinations. £1.50

These are two great patterns for warm and cosy scarves knitted using Texere Troon Tweed aran. The brown ribbed scarf is knitted using a very simple stitch and makes quite a masculine scarf with no tassels or bobbles - there are lots of great tweedy, dark and interesting shades within the Troon range that are perfect for family members who don't want anything colourful! Alternatively, the striped scarf is knitted along the length of the needles to create stripes running the length of the scarf for a completely different effect. As Troon is an oiled wool gently wash the scarf before adding pompoms so they don't get damaged in the wash. Choose two contrasting shades for a unique combination and go wild with your pompoms! £1.50
