Tunisian Crochet Hooks
Tunisian (or Afghan) crochet hooks - they are all made from smooth, grey steel.
All the hooks are made by Prym and we hope will be repeatable products. The packaging will vary from the image because it will be shiny and new!!
Working with an Tunisian or Afghan hook forms a stitch that is similar to knitting and is often used for large flat pieces, such as the blankets that have come to be called Afghans.
The last batch of hooks included some double ended hooks, but these all have a hook at one end and a stopper at the other, no double hooks.

A top quality range of crochet hooks in natural bamboo - 15cm long.
The nature of bamboo means the hooks are soft and warm to the touch enabling arthritis and rheumatism sufferers to crochet in much greater comfort than with plastic or aluminium hooks. One of our regular customers who has arthritis has told us that if it wasn't for bamboo needles she may have had to give up knitting because metal needles aggravated the pain in her wrists. What better recommendation could we give?
The needles are also very lightweight meaning you can crochet for hours without your wrists and hands tiring or feeling strained.
The natural tough fibres that make up bamboo enables the needles to have an inherent strength and flexibility.
Although slightly more expensive than metal and plastic alternatives, these bamboo hooks become smoother the more they are used and develop a beautiful patina over time - a real asset.
