Haze is a gorgeous double knitting yarn by King Cole spun from 100% acrylic, but with a soft, fluffy appearance. It has an incredible meterage, although it knits as a standard DK, so will go an awful long way and 4 balls will be ample for a sweater. The shades include classics as well as bright colours and the patterns King Cole have designed include ruffles and lacy stitches to really show off this yarn. It's a perfect yarn for lightweight summery knitwear, or knit to more traditional styles and you won't be weighed down!

 | Riot DK by King Cole
Riot is a fabulous double knitting yarn created by King Cole from a blend of 30% wool and 70% acrylic. It is a shaded yarn with a "Noro" appearance where the colours are rich and dramatic and blend seamlessly from one shade to another. In something of a departure for King Cole their designers have created knitting patterns aimed at a younger audience with contemporary styling, asymmetric shapes, sweater dresses and ruffles. These show the colours off brilliantly, but there are also some classic designs for those of you not quite as bold!!

 | King Cole Merino Wool Blend Aran
King Cole have now introduced an aran weight to their enormously popular merino blend range. It's 100% pure wool in a range of muted, classic and bright shades. Perfect for knitting into traditional cabled and contemporary styles for adults and children. The special 'anti-tickle' treatment means it's lovely to wear against the skin making it ideal for sensitive skins in both the old and young, and being machine washable it's really practical too. This yarn is anti-pill and non-shrink, so no good for felters!

Sock making is experiencing something of a renaissance, mainly created by the wonderful self-patterned yarns now available. This 4ply yarn by King Cole is 50% superwash wool and 50% nylon giving excellent strength to your socks, whilst providing wonderful colour combinations. As you knit the patterns and stripes appears before your eyes, taking all the hard work out of colour changing. As Zig Zag is a standard 4ply it can be combined with other 4ply sock yarns to create contrasting stripes, heels or toes or treated as a regular 4ply for any other garment or accessories. 100% Pure soft merino wool blend. Machine wash at 40 C, cool iron and dry flat.
Special 'anti-tickle' treatment - lovely to wear against the skin, and also non-shrink and anti-pill, so washes and wears brilliantly, but remember this is NOT for felting!
1800m per 500g cone, 180m per 50g ball. Knit on 3.25mm pins with 28 stitches and 36 rows to a 10cm tension square.

112m per ball. Knit on 4mm pins with 22 stitches and 28 rows to a 10cm tension square. Please note that although this is a standard weight DK some customers find that it doesn't go quite as far as expected, so please be aware of this and order more, rather than less if you are unsure. Don't forget you can always return any unused extras.
