This is an exclusive selection of fancy yarns of various counts, textures and colours. **We have introduced some special bulk purchases at dramatically reduced prices. Order 5 assorted cones and save £4.50 - simply click on "mixed" and we'll put the best selection together for you.** As the yarns are so different from each other the fibre content is a wide spectrum of viscose, polyester and acrylic blends. The yarns are full of texture and character as there are loops, gimps, ribbons, chenilles, slubs and tasselly bits throughout! It is impossible to give a meterage for each yarn as they are so different, but they are probably anywhere between 100m - 200m per cone. Perfect to add drama and texture to embroidery, tassels, weaving and knitting. Two of the collection are the last few kilos of discontinued fancy BMS yarns. These are the 82% Mohair Hedgerow and the Kid Mohair and Silk blend of Cocoon - two fantastic yarns at a fraction of their original

This is a fantastic range of natural raffia in a wide range of colours as well as a natural shade which is ideal for dyeing. Use for all types of textile and craft work. Raffia is obtained from the inner bark of the raffia palm. Although originally thought of as a floristry and gardening material, textile artists have now discovered how well raffia can be used in their work. It's excellent for incorporating into creative embroidery, sculpture, macrame, basket making and braid work. The 50g bundle has approx 80 strands of raffia, all being approx 120cm in length. Of course being vegetable the natural fibres can easily be dyed with natural vegetable dyes, cold water and multi-purpose dyes.
