Space dyed wool & solid dyed viscose knitted together in stripes. Hand wash, cool iron and dry flat.
Suitable for knitting as a heavy DK to aran, a tension square is advised - there are approx 60m per spool.
This yarn is also suitable for weaving, couching into embroidery, tassels and braids to add a an unusual space-dyed element.
A new member of staff decided Bizarre was a good name for this yarn as he thought it was quite wacky. We think it's fairly wacky too, but not as unusual as some yarns that go into our variety bags or a yarn like Cosmic, but he hasn't been working in textiles very long, so we'll let him keep the name!! |

Now available on large spools. You may know it as rat's tail, rats tail, rattail, rat tail, mouse tail, satin cord, chinese knotting cord, but whatever your description at last we have the stuff! This is a gorgeous lustrous polyester cord to use for a multitude of crafts.

Ideal for embroidery and braid making, and perfect for crochet, knitting and tassels as it has such fantastic drape. Highly lustrous, brightly coloured, filament yarn. We are currently in the process of increasing this range so that Prism, Vision and Picasso have fully complementary colours. This will make braids and tassels easier to colour match and co-ordinate and create a fuller spectrum for all your textile work.
The royal blue has come back from the dye house with a slightly uneven dye. Large size cones for bulk requirements now available in five of the shades of this strong linen. This yarn is excellent for warps and wefts and the large cones are an easy and very economical way of working, saving you over 75%!!
Pure linen with a good natural sheen. A fine single yarn - 10/1nm - approx 250m per spool and approx 9000m per cone.
For weaving in the warp or weft. This strong yarn is also excellent for lacemaking, braids and tassels and any project needing a strong yarn in rich, muted shades or subtle neutrals.
