A whipped viscose gimp yarn for embroidery and general needlework use. Viscose whipped around a cotton core. Hand wash and dry flat.
Approx 75m per spool, 300m per cone, 16 ends per inch
No drape - this yarn will stand up for unusual 'off the canvas' embroidery!
Originally used to stitch around buttonholes, this yarn is now perfect for wrapping around the mould of tassels and ideal for creative beading and jewellery making. Highly lustrous, brightly coloured, filament yarn. Unfortunately we have had great difficulty obtaining stocks of this yarn and have had to make the difficult decision to discontinue the range. Don't forget that viscose is a "green" fibre in the same way that bamboo and soya are. It is produced from natural pine wood pulp which is taken from sustainable forests. This is then regenerated to make a spun viscose thread. |

This is a fantastic multi coloured knitting yarn spun from wool, viscose and polyester, creating a chunky, furry, eyelash yarn that is brilliant for creating thick, chunky felt.
43% Wool, 33% Polyester & 24% Viscose. Hand wash, dry flat, do not iron.
Knit on 7mm-8mm needles to a tension of 10 stitches and 16 rows to a 10cm square - 53m per ball.
