The Mode Collection Knitting Pattern Booklet by Wendy
This is a lovely booklet of 10 designs using Wendy Mode yarns including 4ply, Aran and Chunky. Although we only stock the chunky we loved the designs in here and you could use any aran or 4ply yarn to work up these pieces. The designers have created four chunky designs including the gorgeous cabled sweater on the colour, plus a textured fitted jacket then two simple designs using lots of garter stitch to great effect. The aran patterns move away from the traditional cables, but still have lovely texture and include a sweater, waistcoat, bolero and easy jacket. Finally there are two delicate, short sleeved tops packed with intricate stitch detail using 4ply. Everything is really wearable, but with a twist and makes a great collection. Knit from Mode or Texere Chunky, Grousemoor or Airedale Aran, King Cole or Wool Rich 4ply. £6.50

Serenity Super Chunky by Wendy
This fabulous super chunky yarn is a blend of 10% wool, 20% alpaca and 70% acrylic. The colours are muted and sophisticated and will knit up really quickly to thick, cosy knits. The alpaca and wool add a luxurious, soft feel, whilst still having a machine washable practicality. Wendy have designed some funky patterns for garments and accessories and because of the acrylic content the yarn won't weigh you down.

Guernsey 5ply by Wendy
This is a traditional Guernsey 5ply 100% pure new wool available in four classic shades. 5ply is a very traditional yarn and knitting a classic Gansey cabled sweater from Guernsey will provide you with a beautiful heirloom and keep alive some of Britain's knitting heritage. This is a hardwearing, yet soft yarn that will really keep you warm even if you aren't a fisherman! We have four classic patterns available to buy online and hopefully more will be added soon.

Mode Chunky by Wendy
This is a blend of 50% merino wool and 50% premium acrylic which means you get a lovely soft yarn that is light and gentle to touch, whilst also keeping you warm and snug. Mode is available in a wide range of colours from soft, delicate shades to deep, dark hues, with lots of colourful vibrant splashes in between. This yarn is the perfect balance between quality and practicality - you get the benefits of wool, the bonus of being able to machine wash and both come at a great price. Mode will knit up to any chunky pattern (just check your tension first) and is great for hats, scarves and accessories too!

Wendy Chic
Chic is spun from a combination of 60% nylon, 30% polyester and 10% metalised polyester, which doesn't sound very inspiring until you see what that means! This lovely eyelash yarn is made in some fantastic combinations, both subtle and dramatic and all are interspersed with long strands of glitter making it really luxurious. There are patterns available for scarves & shrugs and a white wedding collection of accessories. It's also brilliant to add decoration and embellishment to weaves, embroideries & tassels.
