Magic Plus by Bergere de France Knitting Pattern - 286.57

Magic Plus by Bergere de France Knitting Pattern - 286.57

2.50

What a fabulous design this is, knitted in Magic + aran by Bergere de France. The poncho element creates swing and drape, however the addition of sleeves adds a practicality that you don't get in a regular poncho! The fabulous cabling and cosy roll neck have made this the bestselling knitting pattern Bergere de France have ever created and we can see why. Knit from Magic + which is a standard aran weight yarn available in some contemporary and classic shades, although you could use any aran yarn, just check your tension first. Try Bonus Aran Tweed for a tweedy, budget yarn or Inti Alpaca for a really luxurious version.

(Please note that this design is also featured in Creations 2011/2012 along with 52 other patterns for just £6.95).

Flower Loom

Flower Loom

9.90

This is one of the best craft products you will ever come across and if you've never used a flower loom before you could quite easily get addicted! The basic premise is that you can make "flowers" or "rosettes" by winding yarn round the pegs of the loom. You then stitch through the yarns on the loom, which holds everything together, pop the whole thing off and you have your flower. The beauty of this loom, unlike rigid flower looms, is that the pegs are interchangeable so you can create four different sizes and each of them can be round or square.

Texere Destiny Mohair Knitting Pattern - 048 Sweater Dress
Texere Destiny Mohair Knitting Pattern - 048 Sweater Dress
A gorgeous pattern for a mohair sweater dress and sweater designed exclusively for us by Anni Howard. Using Destiny mohair for the main part of the body and the constrasting band this lovely dress will knit up in no time. For a twist why not try Texere Elements Mohair that comes in lots of space-dyed shades and will knit to exactly the same tension? If your chosen size needs 7 or more balls it's more economical to buy a 450g cone where you'll have a bit of spare yarn to knit perhaps a hat or a scarf. (This pattern was first featured in Knit Now magazine November 2013.) 1.50

Mohair Knitting Pattern 5240
Mohair Knitting Pattern – 5240
Modern, mohair knitting patterns seem to be a thing of the past, but customers always ask for them to give them a guide to quantities required. So here is a small range that we have had in stock for quite some time and never put onto the website. This is a simple stocking stitch sweater with a deep roll back collar and then a very daring plunge back andf contrasting bow - very 80s!! There is no denying that this pattern has an 80's feel about it, but it is knitted throughout in stocking stitch, so potentially knitting the back by following the pattern for the front should give you a less-risky design and be a simple alternative. Knit from any chunky weight mohair, (such as Texere Destiny or Texere Elements)just check your tension first. Click on image for quantities and size information. 1.50

Mohair Knitting Pattern 8734
Mohair Knitting Pattern – 8734
This is a great pattern for a really lacy, lightweight sweater or top knitted in mohair. Both items use the same open stitch creating a lovely lace effect - choose from a long sleeved sweater or a sleeveless vest, both with a feminine scooped neckline. Mohair is unusual in that yarn of different thicknesses often knit to the same tension. These Blur patterns (yarn now discontinued) show a tension identical to chunky mohair, even though Blur was a fine mohair! If you choose a chunky mohair you will need a greater weight of yarn than suggested (in order to gain the correct meterage) i.e. 3 x 50g balls of Blur will require 6 x 50g balls of chunky! Knit from Harvest, or choose a chunkier weight such as White Rose, Elements or Destiny, just check your tension first. *Please note that this pattern is a colour photocopy at a reduced price*

Texere Elements Mohair & Plush Chenille Knitting Pattern - 015 Scarves
Texere Elements Mohair & Plush Chenille Knitting Pattern - 015 Scarves
This leaflet has two scarves that combine Elements mohair and Plush chenille. They are a slightly unusual combination as their textures are so different, but they produce very effective designs. One scarf works the chenille and mohair together throughout and the other uses two ends of each yarn alternately. They both use very simple stitches on big needles, so grow very quickly and make great, quick gifts. Play around with colour combinations to find one that’s just right for you. 1.50

Texere Elements Mohair Crochet & Knitting Pattern - 016 Scarves
Texere Elements Mohair Crochet & Knitting Pattern - 016 Scarves
This leaflet has three lovely scarf designs using chunky weight mohair yarn - one scarf and the wrap are crocheted and the second scarf is knitted. They all use big, lacy stitches, so grow very quickly, and all those holes make a light scarf that traps the air to keep you snug and warm. Mohair yarn always has a long meterage per ball, so choose 100g of any chunky weight mohair to create a lovely scarf, or 200g for the wrap. 1.50

Texere Elements Mohair & Fancy Yarn Knitting Pattern - 014 Scarves
Texere Elements Mohair & Fancy Yarn Knitting Pattern - 014 Scarves
This leaflet has two scarves that combine Texere Elements mohair with either Opaline or Firenze yarns by Laines du Nord. The designs grow really quickly as they are knitted on large needles, but you can swap round the combinations, the needle sizes or the stitches. The larger the needles, the lacier the scarf, so use smaller needles for a snug, thicker scarf - they don't need to fit so play around with combinations to find one that you really like. Scarves make great gifts that knit up quickly and are brilliant for beginners. 1.50
