Texere Double Top Cotton Knitting Pattern - 034 Washcloths

Texere Double Top Cotton Knitting Pattern - 034 Washcloths

£1.50

This leaflet is for two colourful wash cloths or dischcloths knitted in Texere Double Knitting Cotton. You may feel that life is too short to be knitting dishcloths, but when you have gorgeous colours to choose from, you can whizz a couple up in an evening and they are brilliant for the environment then why not?! The pure cotton cloths can be used with facial washes, anti-bacterial sprays and then be machine washed (at 30**) so mean no more wasteful wet wipes and you can even co-ordinate them with your bathroom or kitchen. Make one, wrap up a posh soap and tie with a ribbon and you have a perfect gift! There are waffle and striped patterns for the small cloths and a simple stocking stitch pattern for the larger cloths, so great for beginners and really quick to make. Double Top is a double knitting weight yarn and you could use any DK yarn, just make sure it's absorbent and check your tension first. Click on image for quantities & size information.

Mohair Knitting Pattern – 2833
Mohair Knitting Pattern – 2833
Here are two lovely patterns based on the same basic shape knitted in mohair and aran yarns. The top has a flattering scooped neckline and three quarter sleeves and the jacket has a slight "standing up" collar and longer sleeves. Both clevery use the co-ordinating aran yarn to stripe between the mohair and create solid edging, cuffs and welts. Choose a solid mohair for a subtle effect or a multi-coloured yarn for a fun, colourful look. Knit from any chunky weight mohair and aran yarn, just check your tension first. Mohair Knitting Pattern – 5446
Mohair Knitting Pattern – 5446
Modern, mohair knitting patterns seem to be a thing of the past, but customers always ask for them to give them a guide to quantities required. So here is a small range that we have had in stock for quite some time and never put onto the website. This is a simple round neck long length sweater with blocks of contrasting colour. There is no denying that this pattern has an 80's feel about it, but it is quite a simple design that could easily be adapted for a more modern look and using just one shade will instantly update it. Knit from any chunky weight mohair, just check your tension first. Click on image for quantities and size information. £1.50

Mohair Knitting Pattern – 8734
Mohair Knitting Pattern – 8734
This is a great pattern for a really lacy, lightweight sweater or top knitted in mohair. Both items use the same open stitch creating a lovely lace effect - choose from a long sleeved sweater or a sleeveless vest, both with a feminine scooped neckline. Mohair is unusual in that yarn of different thicknesses often knit to the same tension. These Blur patterns (yarn now discontinued) show a tension identical to chunky mohair, even though Blur was a fine mohair! If you choose a chunky mohair you will need a greater weight of yarn than suggested (in order to gain the correct meterage) i.e. 3 x 50g balls of Blur will require 6 x 50g balls of chunky! Knit from Harvest, or choose a chunkier weight such as White Rose, Elements or Destiny, just check your tension first. *Please note that this pattern is a colour photocopy at a reduced price*

Mohair Knitting Pattern – 8735
This is a lovely pattern for a large triangular shawl or a pretty narrow scarf knitted in mohair. Both items use the same open stitch creating a gentle ribbed lace effect. Mohair is unusual in that yarn of different thicknesses often knit to the same tension. These Blur patterns (yarn now discontinued) show a tension identical to chunky mohair, even though Blur was a fine mohair! This is a gorgeous pattern for a lacy cowl neck sweater knitted in mohair which includes larger sizes. The design has a lacy criss-cross style stitch pattern throughout and a soft cowl style neckline. Mohair is unusual in that yarn of different thicknesses often knit to the same tension. Texere Elements Mohair & Plush Chenille Knitting Pattern - 015 Scarves
Texere Elements Mohair & Plush Chenille Knitting Pattern - 015 Scarves
This leaflet has two scarves that combine Elements mohair and Plush chenille. They are a slightly unusual combination as their textures are so different, but they produce very effective designs. One scarf works the chenille and mohair together throughout and the other uses two ends of each yarn alternately. They both use very simple stitches on big needles, so grow very quickly and make great, quick gifts. Play around with colour combinations to find one that’s just right for you. £1.50

Texere Elements Mohair Crochet & Knitting Pattern - 016 Scarves
Texere Elements Mohair Crochet & Knitting Pattern - 016 Scarves
This leaflet has three lovely scarf designs using chunky weight mohair yarn - one scarf and the wrap are crocheted and the second scarf is knitted. They all use big, lacy stitches, so grow very quickly, and all those holes make a light scarf that traps the air to keep you snug and warm. Mohair yarn always has a long meterage per ball, so choose 100g of any chunky weight mohair to create a lovely scarf, or 200g for the wrap. £1.50

Texere Elements Mohair & Fancy Yarn Knitting Pattern - 014 Scarves
Texere Elements Mohair & Fancy Yarn Knitting Pattern - 014 Scarves
This leaflet has two scarves that combine Texere Elements mohair with either Opaline or Firenze yarns by Laines du Nord. The designs grow really quickly as they are knitted on large needles, but you can swap round the combinations, the needle sizes or the stitches. The larger the needles, the lacier the scarf, so use smaller needles for a snug, thicker scarf - they don't need to fit so play around with combinations to find one that you really like. Scarves make great gifts that knit up quickly and are brilliant for beginners. £1.50
